Why unity is crucial
At our recent Leaders Prayer Breakfast, Steve Goss (Freedom in Christ International) spoke and challenged us to think about the things we are praying for. Sometimes we can find ourselves praying about matters that God has given us authority to 'get on with.' One of the key prayers in the New Testament is Jesus' prayer for unity. Unity is THE context where God commands blessing and as we get on with preaching the gospel and making disciples, God's blessing and fruitfulness flows when we live and partner in genuine, relational unity.
3 times during the year we host extended prayer breakfasts from 8 - 10am. These are special times to strengthen relationships as well as to pray together We sometimes have special influential guests from across the town in order to be able to support them in their specific town roles. If you are the leader of a church or Christian charity/organisation, you are very welcome to join with us weekly for prayer from 8-9am at Greyfriars Church.
